"Bear one another's burdens.." (Galations 6:2)
The ASSISTANCE CENTER OF TOWSON CHURCHES offers an ecumenical program providing help to poor and needy families in our community. ACTC developed as a result of a study conducted by the Towson Area Ministerial Association, exploring an effective and efficient way to meet the needs of people coming to churches requesting help. As a result, fourteen churches joined together to organize the Assistance Center; forty three churches now participate in the outreach effort.

The Assistance Center opened in 1985 to provide emergency assistance. Located at 120 W. Pennsylvania Avenue (between Baltimore and Washington Avenues) in Towson. The office is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.. The center is run by a director and a team of trained volunteers who interview each applicant to determine their specific needs.

* Financial assistance is available to those in ACTC's area bounded by zones 21210, 21212 and 21239 on the south, west to Falls Rd, east to include all of 21234 and north to the state line.
